MoU signed with Government of Madhya Pradesh in October, 2008 for developing a 1,050 MW coal-based power project
- MoU provides for supply of 5% of net power at variable cost and 30% of power at regulated tariff (as determined by the Appropriate Commission)
- Project Location - Anuppur village, Chhulkar-Raksha district, Madhya Pradesh
- Land Acquisition – 1,000 acres identified and application made for allotment of land
- Water Resources Department, Madhya Pradesh has allocated 32 million cubic meter p.a. of water during the District Water Utility Committee Meeting in August 2009
- Application for coal linkage for 1,050 MW has been made to MoC; Govt. of Madhya Pradesh (Department of Energy) recommended for fuel linkage
- Power to be evacuated through PGCIL’s 400 kV line
- Consultant appointed for preparing draft EIA report and obtaining TOR from MoEF
